Eye Care Services Offered
Dr. Weberling & Dr. Repko, Optometrists
Dr. Weberling and Dr. Repko offer a comprehensive Eye Examination and Eye Health Treatment Service. Dr. Weberling and Dr. Repko also offer Contact Lens fitting and LASIK Laser Vision Correction examination and referral services.
Comprehensive Eye Examination
Your Comprehensive Eye Examination will include:
- A review of your family and personal health history
- A review of your family and personal ocular health history
- Computerized evaluation of your prescription and eye pressure (auto refraction, auto keratometry and non-contact tonometry)
- Check of eye coordination and eye muscle function and teaming (checks for “lazy eye”/strabismus, nystagmus and other problems)
- Color vision testing (when appropriate)
- Determination of glasses prescription
- Test of ability to change focus easily from near to far and vise versa
- External eye examination with biomicroscopy. (evaluates the eyelids and eyelashes, conjunctiva, tear film, cornea, iris, and lens for abnormalities and diseases)
- A dilated internal eye examination and/or digital fundus photography (evaluates the retina and its associated vasculature, optic nerve, central vision and vitreous for glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and many other diseases)
In addition to above a contact lens exam will include:
- Evaluation and determination of the appropriate contact lens for the patient
- Evaluation of proper contact fit, vision and comfort (both RGP/hard lenses and soft lenses including bifocal, toric/astigmatic, extended wear (can sleep in), and daily wear)
- Contact lens related follow-up visits included for one year
Diagnosis and Treatment of Eye Diseases
- Co- Management of Cataract and Laser Surgery
- Evaluation and management of macular health (important for those with macular degeneration, diabetes and those taking Plaquenil)
- Management of Dry Eye Conditions
